Keith Wright is the founder and CEO of Thrive Global LLC. Keith has more than 24 years of operational and leadership experience managing complex development and business projects across Africa. He has worked at the community level as well as in leadership roles at the country, regional, global and corporate levels. His experience includes governance leadership in one of East Africa’s leading financial institutions and as president of a $150mm global enterprise with nearly 3,000 staff in 26 countries. He has a M.Sc. degree in economic development from Eastern University and a B.A. degree in political science from the University of Mary Washington.
Countries in Africa where Keith has had extensive experience over the past two and a half decades include Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan, DR Congo, Tanzania, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Ken has extensive entrepreneurial success, a deep network of leaders and policy makers and sits on high-profile boards in East Africa.
Ken chairs or has chaired the following boards: Machakos County Investment Promotion Board (an Investment Board in a leading County in Kenya); Faulu Kenya (microfinance business in Kenya); Food for the Hungry (international relief and development non-profit); NW Realite Ltd (Real Estate business in Kenya); and Ecosmart Energy (a young energy business focused on lighting homes in Africa).
Ken sits on the following boards as a director: Home Africa (provider of large scale housing in Africa); Beacon of Hope (a community based organization in Kenya); Opportunity Bank of Uganda Ltd; AIB Capital (one of the listed stockbrokers in the Nairobi Stock Exchange); and Trustmark Insurance Brokers.
Terry Davidson is currently an independent consultant, board member and adviser to various companies. Born and educated in Kenya and England, Terry is a career banker who spent 30 years with Citibank in various geographies and capacities including Region Head for East and Southern Africa and 4 1/2 years as Chief Executive of Kenya Commercial Bank, a regional bank operating in East Africa. For the past few years Terry has worked as an independent consultant and is on the board of various companies including publicly listed KenolKobil, KK Security Group, Prime Bank Kenya Ltd, First Capital Bank Zambia, the New Forests Company, Eagle Africa Insurance Brokers and Asilia Ltd. He is also an adviser to the Al-Futtaim Group and to Falcon Investment Advisers for their activities in East Africa. He is a Trustee of Gertrudes Garden Children's Hospital, the Chairman of the Olare Orok and Motorogi Trust and an adviser to the Palmhouse Foundation. He was previously a founder member of the Kenya Capital Markets Authority, a member of the Kenya Capital Markets Tribunal, past Chairman of the Kenya Bankers Association and past council member of the Univeristy of Nairobi and the United States International University. Terry lives in Nairobi, Kenya and is married to Gayle and they have 3 children, Piers, Julian and Ingrid.
After completing a BSc in management and marketing at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma USA in 1985 Ken joined East Africa Industries (Unilever) in January 1986. He joined Boots Pharmaceuticals in 1990 and over the next five years oversaw the profitable growth of the 'over the counter medication' business. Shortly after the oil industry was liberalized from price control, he joined Total Kenya Limited in 1995 as Marketing Manager, eventually adding consumer sales to his portfolio. After five years he joined Colgate Palmolive as Marketing Director for Kenya, rising to be commercial Director and later Managing Director for Eastern Africa. In the last three years, Ken has served as Worldwide Director for Indirect Trade and is currently the Business Development Director for Sub-Sahara Africa excluding South Africa with the same company. Ken has extensive training and exposure worldwide, and is a graduate of Dartmouth College's Global 2020. Ken is a leader, trainer and focused businessman with outstanding global qualities.
Dr. Daniel Wright
Daniel B. Wright is founder, President, and CEO of GreenPoint Group, a boutique U.S.-China strategic advisory firm based in Washington, D.C. and Beijing. Dr. Wright has three decades of China experience building bridges between people, resources, and public policy in the United States and China. He was formerly Senior Vice President and China practice head of the Albright Stonebridge Group. Previously, Dr. Wright served at the U.S. Treasury Department as Managing Director for China and the Strategic Economic Dialogue (SED), providing strategic Council to the Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson, Jr. for this Cabinet-level exchange with China. Prior to this, Dr. Wright served as Vice President of the National Bureau of Asian Research, Executive Director of Johns Hopkins University SAIS’s Hopkins-Nanjing Center, Fellow with the Institute of Current World Affairs, and Visiting Scholar at Qinghua University’s School of Public Policy and Management. Dr. Wright earned his Ph.D. and M.A. from Johns Hopkins University SAIS, M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary, and B.A. from Vanderbilt University. He studied Chinese and Chinese literature at Beijing University, the Beijing Foreign Language Institute, and the Beijing Languages Institute.

Charlie is a management consultant with extensive experience in business operations, technology, marketing strategy and project management. Previously, he worked for a Fortune 100 bank in capital markets finance, a large relief and development organization, and has supported the incubation and launch of developing world advisory service initiatives. Within Thrive Global his responsibilities include administration, financial management, and strategic planning; while supporting client relationships and projects as necessary. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Washington State University.
